Municipal Judge Kevin Madison had banned boots when he issued a dress code for his Lakeway court.
But the boot ban stirred up a hornet's nest of protest, after a report in the Austin American-Statesman.
Lawyer George Lobb says "This is Texas."
He adds he'll die with his boots on.
Now, Lobb won't have to challenge the ban in court.
Madison is revising the dress code.
He adds he's a reasonable person, who appreciates a good pair of cowboy boots.
