Ride the Ducks of Norcross, Ga., says its tours will resume on the Schuylkill River in March.
The new land-and-water route will include Old City, City Hall, the Ben Franklin Parkway, the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Water Works.
The company says no passengers had ever been injured on water until a barge struck a stalled duck boat in the Delaware River's shipping channel in July. The duck boat sank, and two Hungarian students aboard drowned.
Their parents are suing Ride the Ducks, the city and others.
Ride the Ducks also operates tours in San Francisco, Branson, Mo., and other cities.
