Manager Charlie Manuel said Friday night that Halladay will start Game 1, followed by Oswalt. He did not name the Game 3 starter. The likely choice is Cole Hamels.
Manuel said Vance Worley and Hamels would start the final two regular-season games against Atlanta on Saturday and Sunday. Meanwhile, third baseman Placido Polanco returned to the team Friday. He had a cortisone shot in his left elbow Wednesday in Philadelphia. Greg Dobbs started at third base Friday night against the Braves.
Jayson Werth, the regular in right field, made his 19th start in center field. Shane Victorino was away from the team as his wife gave birth to a boy on Thursday. Victorino is expected to return for Saturday's game.
