Fire crews were called to the scene on the 2000 block of N. 13th Street in North Philadelphia about 2:30 Thursday morning.
The fire department quickly put the fire under control, which appears to have started in a waste can in one of the classrooms.
There were no injuries reported and classes should resume as scheduled.
