At around 6:00 am. Thursday, Collings Lakes resident Barbara Ciric let her cat Peter outside.
When she opened the door at around 10:00 a.m. to let him back in, Peter had an arrow lodged in the side of his face.
Ciric lives on West Beach Drive.
She rushed the cat to Shore Veterinarians in Williamstown.
Vets were able to remove the arrow.
Police and the Atlantic County SPCA want to know if someone shot the cat by accident or on purpose.
