Quake felt in NW Wyoming; landslide reported

JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) - October 24, 2010

Teton County sheriff's dispatcher Kristen Clifton says no injuries have been reported.

The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake hit at about 11:45 a.m.

Clifton says site of the reported landslide is in the Bridger-Teton National Forest about 20 miles northeast of Jackson. She says deputies are on their way to the spot.

Hunters reported the slide, but Clifton says she doesn't know whether they saw it happen.

A National Park Service dispatcher says the quake was felt in Grand Teton National Park north of Jackson, but no damage was reported.
