Home invaders swipe $50,000 in jewels

GREENVILLE, Del. - October 25, 2010

The holdup happened in Greenville, Delaware just before 2 p.m. Sunday.

New Castle County police responded to a call from a 28-year-old woman staying at her parents' home. She told them two men forced their way into the home at gunpoint and over 90 minutes they stole more than $50,000 in jewelry, several guns, and a 50" plasma TV.

The victim said said she heard the doorbell ring and answered it, thinking it was a neighbor.

Police searched the area, but couldn't find the suspects. They are described as two black men wearing dark hoodies. One was about 5'5". The other was described as taller.
