2 suspects sought in Bensalem armed robbery

BENSALEM, Pa. - November 3, 2010

On Monday, October 25th at 9:50 p.m. Bensalem Police responded to an armed robbery at the 7-Eleven store on the 2500 block of Lincoln Highway. Police say a female customer entered the store, had a confrontation with the clerk and left the scene.

A short time later, while the store was occupied by many customers including several children, her male companion entered and was armed with an automatic handgun.

Upon entering the store, he racked the chamber back on the gun and ordered the clerk to turn over a pack of cigarettes. The man fled the scene and police are asking for assistance in identify both suspects.

The male is described as black, 6'1, 200 pounds, in his 20s, with a scruffy short beard. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a logo over the left chest and khaki pants.

The female is described as black, 5'3, 110 pounds. She was wearing a purple hooded sweatshirt with a logo in middle of sweatshirt and dark sweatpants with a solid colored bandana wrapped around her hair.
