The teens, one from Dover and the other from Clayton, knocked on the front door of a house in the 300 block of Gunning Bedford Drive in the Rodney Village development near Dover on Friday morning.
When no one answered, police Cpl. Bruce Harris says the teens walked around back and went through an unlocked door, took the alcohol and fled.
A trooper spotted the teens walking in the area of John Clark and Charles Polk roads and Harris says one of them had a homemade marijuana pipe.
Both were charged with burglary and assorted other offenses and released to their parents.
