The fire broke out just before 3:00 p.m. on the 800 block of Dekalb Pike.
Officials say a woman was found trapped inside.
Firefighters were able to rescue the woman.
She was flown to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania suffering from smoke inhalation. She expected to be OK.
Firefighters also rescued 8 cats from inside the home.
It's not clear what sparked the blaze.
