Sixteen-year-old Alfredo Uribe and three 19-year-olds are charged with second-degree murder, robbery and related offenses in the Sept. 12 shooting death of Willy Tineo-Ferreira. The other defendants are Rodrigo Arana, Mario Ceballos and Julio Romero.
Police allege that Uribe and the three older teens were riding in a car looking for someone to rob when they saw Tineo-Ferreira. Authorities allege that they punched and kicked him until he fell, and Arana then shot him.
The Reading Eagle says a fifth defendant is charged with tampering with evidence and other counts. Authorities say they found the gun and the victim's sneakers at that 19-year-old's home.
