At around 4:00 p.m., a multi-vehicle accident occurred in the westbound lanes of I-76 at Vare Avenue.
All westbound lanes are blocked and motorists must exit at Vare Avenue.
They are advised to take 34th Street to get back onto the Schuylkill Expressway.
Pennsylvania State Police are reporting injuries, as well as a fuel spill.
There is no word on the extent of the injuries or when the roadway will be reopened.
