Moments earlier, around 10:25 a.m. Friday, the pair, armed with multiple semi-automatic handguns, had held up a TD Bank.<23> They demanded tellers stuff cash into an Adidas backpack. The cameras inside the branch captured an identifiable jacket on the taller robber. It had brightly-colored Sesame Street characters on the front.
Police investigators say even after ditching their clothes, these guys will likely be recognizable.
"We believe the actor should be stained with red on his hands and body and maybe in his hair," said Detective Sergeant Tom Longo of the Plymouth Township Police Department. "We know his clothes were definitely covered with it."
Detectives are also looking for a blue Chrysler style minivan that is believed to be the getaway car. It was driven by a third accomplice.
Police did recover all the cash.
