Tina Fey is flattered to be getting the Mark Twain Prize for comedy tonight at the Kennedy Center in Washington, though she jokes that she's not exactly sure why they're giving to her.
She says she "can't even quite understand why it's happening."
She credits Sarah Palin in part for the honor.
She says her Palin impression has turned out to be "one of the luckiest things" that's ever happened to her and she plans to "milk that dry."
She says she fully expects to be doing her Palin impression at a car show when she's 70.
Steve Carrell, Jimmy Fallon, Jon Hamm, Jane Krakowksi, Steve Martin, Seth Meyers and Betty White are among those who'll honor Fey tonight.
The show will be taped for broadcast to air on PBS this Saturday.
