Authorities in Ann Arbor, Michigan, say they're cracking down on upholstered furniture on porches.
Kicking back on an outdoor couch is practically a tradition in the hometown of the University of Michigan.
But officials say the porch couches are a fire hazard.
At first, offenders will be given a warning ticket.
But the penalty for outlawed porch furniture can be a $1,000 fine, plus the cost of removal.
