Pemberton Township police and New Jersey State police were called to investigate a homemade pipe bomb.
It was found on a vehicle parked along the 400 block of Rhode Island Road in the Presidential Lakes Estate subdivision.
Homes nearby were evacuated, as police detonated the device.
It turned out to be empty of any explosives.
