There have been confirmed cases of influenza in Pennsylvania, including an outbreak in September in a Southeastern Pennsylvania nursing home.

Between August 25 and September 10, 33 nursing home residents a staffers developed influenza A.

14 cases were reported over the summer, 12 of them from influenza A, and 2 due to the pandemic H1N1 virus.
