The animal rights group PETA is naming the rat terrier and papillon mix as the Cutest Mutt Alive.
Stella is owned by Jamie Hood of Summerville, S.C.
Stella edged out nine other finalists to take the title.
She's a rescue dog and was one of about 1,000 that were entered in the contest.
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals will feature the winning pooch on its website and in an upcoming issue of its magazine.
