I. NAME OF SPONSOR
ABC, Inc. d/b/a WPVI-TV/6ABC (hereinafter referred to as “Sponsor”).
II. ELIGIBILITY
This sweepstakes is open to all legal residents of PA, NJ and DE; all entrants must be at least 18 years of age or older as of entry date.
Any individuals (including but not limited to employees, consultants, independent contractors, and interns) who have, within the past six months, performed services for IKEA, Disney Destinations, WPVI-TV, its licensee ABC, Inc., 6ABC, any organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the sweepstakes or supplying the prize, and their respective parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, and immediate family and household members of such individuals, are not eligible to enter or play. "Immediate family members" shall mean parents, step-parents, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses. "Household members" shall mean people who share the same residence at least three months a year.
III. HOW AND WHEN TO ENTER
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
To enter this sweepstakes, go to your local participating IKEA location and completely fill out an entry form or enter at 6abc.com by clicking on the promotional carousal link for the 2010 6ABC Vacation Giveaway Sweepstakes and fill out the complete entry form. All entries remain the property of Sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged.
This sweepstakes begins 12:00a EST on November 25, 2010 and ends 11:59p EST on December 18, 2010.
Limit one entry per person. Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are lost, stolen, late, illegible, incomplete, damaged, mutilated, misdirected, altered, tampered with, or if postage is due.
IV. HOW AND WHEN WINNERS WILL BE SELECTED AND NOTIFIED
Two (2) grand prize winners will be randomly selected no later than December 30, 2010 among all valid entries received. Winners will be notified by telephone. If for any reason the prize is not claimed or a winner is disqualified, prize will be awarded to an alternate winner (time permitting), selected from remaining valid, eligible entries timely submitted at random.
If for any reason the sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify and/or suspend the sweepstakes and to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
Limit one prize per winner for this sweepstakes; people who have won any other prizes on station within 90 days of entry are not eligible to enter this sweepstakes.
Odds of winning depend on number of valid entries received.
V. PRIZES
Each winner will receive a magical Disney Vacation Package – a four (4) night/five (5) day vacation for four (4) to WALT DISNEY WORLD® Resort. Each prize package includes the following: four (4) roundtrip coach airfares between Philadelphia International Airport and Orlando International Airport; four (4) roundtrip ground transfers between Orlando International Airport and the WALT DISNEY WORLD® Resort via Disney’s Magical Express Service; room accommodations (one (1) standard room with a maximum occupancy of four (4) people per room) for four (4) nights; four (4) 5-day Magic Your Way Tickets with Park Hopper® Option; a Disney Gift Card valued at $250.00 USD; one (1) Disney’s PhotoPass® CD; and complimentary use of transportation within the WALT DISNEY WORLD® Resort. Prize Estimated Retail Value: $5,059.68.
Additional Prize Rules for each vacation include the following:
- Vacation must be taken between February 15, 2011 and September 15, 2011.
- Departure dates and accommodations are subject to availability; certain restrictions at the WALT DISNEY WORLD® Resort and the airlines and blackout dates may apply.
- Items NOT included as part of the winning WALT DISNEY WORLD ® Resort package which are the responsibility of the winner include: Meals, travel insurance, hotel room service, laundry service, spa treatments, alcoholic beverages, local and long distance telephone calls, merchandise and souvenirs, incidental expenses, additional tips & gratuities, income taxes, ground transportation between winner’s residence and Philadelphia International Airport and all other costs and expenses not otherwise mentioned herein.
- Vacation and vacation components may not be sold, traded, transferred, refunded, commissioned or redeemed for cash value. Vacation elements may not be substituted and vacation is non-commissionable.
- Vacation must be booked at least thirty (30) days prior to arrival.
All expenses not specifically provided for herein are the winner’s sole responsibility. Some restrictions may apply.
Federal, state and local taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of each winner, who will receive an IRS Form 1099 reflecting the final actual value of any prize valued at $600 or more.
Winners are not entitled to exchange or transfer prizes or to obtain cash or other substitutes, but Sponsor in its sole discretion may substitute prizes of equal or greater value.
VI. RELEASES
By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of the Sponsor which shall be final in all respects.
By participating in this sweepstakes and accepting any prize that they may win, entrants agree to release, IKEA, Disney Destinations, WPVI-TV, its licensee ABC, Inc., 6ABC, their parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, advertising and promotion agencies and prize suppliers, and each of their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees, as well as each of their respective successors, representatives and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all actions, claims, injury, loss or damage arising in any manner, directly or indirectly, from participation in this sweepstakes and/or acceptance or use of the prize.
Entrants authorize the Released Parties to use their name, voice, likeness, biographical data, city and state of residence and entry materials in programming or promotional material, worldwide in perpetuity, or on a winner’s list, if applicable, without further compensation unless prohibited by law. Sponsor is not obligated to use any of the above mentioned information or materials, but may do so and may edit such information or materials, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, without further obligation or compensation.
To claim a prize: (a) each winner must provide proof of age, identity and residency; (b) each winner must sign and return affidavit of eligibility/compliance with rules, publicity/liability release and indemnification; and (c) each winner’s intended guest(s) or travel companion(s), if any, must sign liability/publicity release, all within the time period specified by Sponsor.
VII. MISCELLANEOUS; WINNERS’ LIST
Void where prohibited. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to cancel, terminate, modify and/or suspend the sweepstakes in the event of tampering or other circumstances, including but not limited to acts of God or civil disturbance that render it impractical or impossible to complete or fulfill the sweepstakes as originally planned.
