Knife-wielding bandit robs Del. Wawa

NEWARK, Del. - November 15, 2010

The holdup happened at the Wawa along the 200 block of East Chestnut Hill Road in Newark, Delaware, at about 2:15 a.m. Sunday.

Police describe the suspect as a white man between 30-40 years of age. He stands between 5'8" and 5'10". He's heavy set, with brown/grayish hair, and goatee.

Last seen The suspect, who was wearing gray T-shirt with white long sleeve undershirt, dark colored sweat pants, black shoes, entered the Wawa and went directly to the sales counter where he showed the 20-year-old clerk a knife and demanded cash from the register

The worker gave him an undetermined amount of cash and the suspect fled out of the store.
