Police: 3 suspects injured after carjacking, crash

Philadelphia police say after 2 men carjacked a woman and then picked up a friend in the stolen car, the 3 suspects were hurt when they crashed with a Jeep at 3 a.m. Friday.

Philadelphia Police are investigating a carjacking and crash that injured 3 suspects around 3 a.m. Friday.

It happened at the intersection of Belfield and Windrim avenues in Philadelphia's Logan section.

Police tell Action News that 2 men carjacked a woman who was driving a Toyota earlier in the evening.

Sometime later, they picked up another woman who was in the car when it collided with a sport-utility vehicle.

All 3 suspects are being treated at Einstein hospital with multiple injuries.

The driver of the SUV was not seriously hurt.
