Police are looking for 18-year-old Wyatt Young of Hebron, Maryland.
Investigators are concentrating their search in the Middletown, Delaware area.
Young may have slipped from authorities grasp in the First State last night. Delaware State Police pulled over what they believe was a stolen car on State Route 1, near Bayview Road. The driver jumped out of the car and made a run for it.
Police believe it was Young who got away.
He is accused of firing shots at a Maryland trooper near Salisbury back on Friday morning.
Young is considered Armed and Dangerous.
