And the toy robot lost.
The Denver bomb squad was sent to investigate after the toy was found cemented to a downtown footbridge.
Police spokesman Matt Murray tells The Denver Post the bomb squad doesn't automatically respond to all suspicious objects.
But he says the robot was strange enough to warrant a call.
After about two hours of surveillance by the bomb-squad robot, police destroyed the toy robot with a small amount of explosive.
The police spokesman says the incident turned out to be "a whole lot of nothing."
