At around 9:30 p.m. Monday, police and medic units were called out to the 3500 block of South Christopher Columbus Boulevard for the report of an accident.
When they arrived, they found a vehicle filled with teenagers overturned.
The 17-year-old driver was pinned underneath the vehicle.
He was transported to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in critical condition.
The three passengers were also taken to Jefferson Hospital for their injuries.
