Pa. woman convicted again of killing husband

STROUDSBURG, Pa. (AP) - December 13, 2010

Jurors in Monroe County deliberated for almost three hours Monday before convicting 75-year-old Eleanor Nicolosi of Cresco of first-degree murder, aggravated assault and tampering with physical evidence.

After the verdict was read, Nicolosi said "I'm lost here but I'll get my rewards in my heaven, in eternity."

Authorities said Nicolosi shot her 75-year-old husband, Frank, in September 2001 and then covered his body up in her apple orchard before reporting him missing. She was convicted on all charges in 2005 but won a new trial on appeal. The defense called the case circumstantial and said a hunter or a fellow club member killed the victim.
