The Allegheny County medical examiner's office said Sunday afternoon that 63-year-old Leslie Thompson died of cardiovascular disease.
Officials said four ambulance personnel were also injured in the 4:11 p.m. Saturday crash in Kennedy Township near Pittsburgh. They say Thompson had collapsed in her home and was being taken to Ohio Valley General Hospital at the time of the crash. She was taken in another ambulance but died in the emergency room shortly afterward.
A Robinson police department dispatcher says no charges were immediately filed in connection with the crash.
