Small fire at NE Pa. cathedral ruled arson

SCRANTON, Pa. - December 21, 2010

Monday's fire didn't cause much damage at St. Peter's Cathedral in Scranton. But church officials say the building also sustained some water and smoke damage.

Scranton Diocese spokesman Bill Genello says the cathedral could be closed for a couple days but will reopen in time for Mass on Christmas Eve.

Scranton police are investigating the fire as a case of arson.
