Four giant truckloads of toys and other gifts were delivered to the door of a family burnt out of their Ocean County home.

The fire robbed the Cardacis of all their possessions including Christmas gifts last Sunday.

The 2-alarm fire in the Falcon Drive home broke out around 10:30 a.m.

Lisa Cardaci's boyfriend, Kevin O'Connor, was hospitalized with burns and suffered from smoke inhalation. Lisa and her 12-year-old daughter and 7-year-old autistic son moved in with family.

Immediately after the fire, the Mystic Islands Fire Company launched a drive to collect toys, clothes, gift cards and cash from the community.

With the help of Santa, bag after bag was delivered to the family's temporary home.

Shivering in the cold Monday morning with just a sweatshirt, Lisa Cardaci told Action News she was overwhelmed by the warm support she's getting from friends and strangers alike.
