U.S. Marshal Joseph Papili says 44-year-old Charles O. Conner was arrested in Salisbury, Md. after authorities spotted him at a home.
Authorities say he was wanted for violating his probation and warrants were issued for his arrest in August. He's awaiting extradition to Delaware on charges that he failed to register as a sex offender and violated his probation on an original charge of third-degree rape.
That charge stemmed from a 2001 case involving a victim authorities say was 12 to 15 years old.
Conner's address was listed as "homeless" on Delaware's sex offender registry.
