Storm leaves airline travelers stranded

ATLANTA (AP) - December 26, 2010

Delta Airlines, which has canceled 850 flights, says it expects some cancellations tomorrow, including flights out of New York and Boston, but no official determination has been made yet. A spokesman says he expects a return to normal operations by Tuesday.

United Airlines, which canceled 110 flights Sunday, says it could add more flights Monday to accommodate stranded passengers, but final decisions are due later in the evening. Continental says it had canceled 265 mainline and regional flights Sunday and says only that it continues to monitor the storm.

Other major carriers, including U.S. Airways and American Airlines, couldn't be reached.
