It happened in the 5300 block of Large Street around 4:30 p.m.
Police say a 30-year-old man was shot and wounded in the jaw.
The gunman also shot a utility pole.
The victim is being treated at Aria Hospital Torresdale Division.
Police say the suspect is the victim's stepfather.
Police say the shooting was the result of a domestic argument.
Charges are pending against the stepfather.
