A number of people were evacuated from a twin home in West Philadelphia for high levels of carbon monoxide.

The home is located in the 4800 block of Walnut Street.

There, around 11:00 a.m. Thursday, fire crews responded to the three-story building and detected the high levels of CO.

Four adult women and two juveniles were evacuated. No injuries were reported.

Firefighters were also working to see if neighboring homes were affected.

There is no word yet on what caused the elevated levels of CO.

The Red Cross is helping those displaced.
