Upper Merion schools open despite water problems

School officials say both the Caley and Roberts schools in the Upper Merion School District will remain open despite water problems there.

Officials say workers will have to dig up the ground at the Caley Elementary School to work on a pipe that burst over the weekend.

Meanwhile, a sprinkler head froze and broke outside the Roberts Elementary School on Monday morning.

Neither incident has caused damage to the buildings.

There was no immediate word on how long repairs would take.
