If folding bed sheets makes a mess in your linen closet, I can show you how to fold and store them so they're neat and smooth!

If you like your sheets to look crisp and pressed without needing to iron them, make sure you fold them hot out of the dryer.

The flat sheet and pillow cases are easy enough. Fold them neatly and set them aside.

Now for that dreaded fitted sheet. On a large, flat surface fold the sheet in half lengthwise and tuck the corners into each other with the unfinished sides facing each other.

Around that corner, fold each side up so that it makes a mitered corner that is flat and smooth.

Now you can continue to fold the fitted sheet like you would any other sheet.

Open your flat sheet so that it makes a long skinny rectangle and place your fitted sheets and pillowcases in the center of the rectangle.

Then fold each end up over the center making sort of an envelope for the set. Now it can be stored neatly on a shelf or in a drawer.

I hope that helps solve the ever frustrating problem of how to fold and store sheets! I'm Mrs. Fixit and it's just that simple!
