Police have released surveillance video in hopes of finding the man who shot a young woman last week in South Philadelphia.

It happened around 11:19 p.m. on March 30th.

Investigators say a victim, a 19-year-old woman, was walking in the 1200 block of South 13th Street around when she was approached by an unknown man.

The suspect pulled out a revolver and demanded money, and the woman tried to defend herself with mace.

That's when she was shot in the abdomen.
