1 dead in West Phila. drive-by triple shooting

Police are investigating a drive-by triple shooting that killed one and injured two in West Philadelphia.

At around 8:30 p.m., police were called out to the report of a shooting on the 4900 block of Olive Street.

When they arrived they found a 28-year-old man on the street suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was transported to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in stable condition.

Around the corner on the 5000 block of Haverford Avenue, another victim was found.

The 20-year-old was also transported to HUP where he was later pronounced dead.

Police say that a third victim, a 19-year-old male, was also found and transported to Mercy Hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg.

Police say that the shooting was a drive-by and are looking for a black Buick Regal that fled the scene.
