I saw this little artist's display at a local discount store and it was still over twelve dollars. I'm thinking that with some scrap wood, clothespins and acrylic paint, I could probably make ten of these for twelve dollars.

Paint the scrap wood and clothespins in whatever pattern would suit the child.

The wood doesn't need to be any particular size, whatever you've got as long as it will hold a piece of paper will do!

Once the elements have dried, add some saw tooth hangers to the backside of the board so you can hang it when it's done.

Use a good quality glue to secure the clothespins in place along the length of the wood. Think of a standard piece of paper when you're deciding on placement.

Let the glue dry and all that's left to do is add some artwork!!

Instead of spending over twelve dollars you can make this one with things you have around your home. I'm Mrs. Fixit and it's just that simple!
