No evidence of 'homeless graveyard' in NJ

Police in New Jersey now say there is no evidence that homeless people have been burying their friends.

The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office says a search of an area near the railroad tracks on the Trenton-Hamilton border revealed visible markers that could be burial areas or improvised memorials.

However, a search of the site on Thursday produced no human remains.

Even a cadaver dog couldn't find any evidence.

The prosecutor's office says the search was launched after an offhand comment made to investigators working on an unrelated case.
