Investigators say the man is 57-year-old Michael Reigel of Warminster, Pa. He was transported to Abington Hospital where he was pronounced dead from injuries sustained in the crash.
Police say Reigel's motorcycle was hit by a car that was travelling west on Horsham Road.
The car, driven by 20-year-old Stephen Michniewicz, of Lansdale, was making a left hand turn onto Maple Avenue as the motorcycle was going straight through the intersection.
Investigators say both vehicles entered the intersection on a green light and that sun glare may have been a factor in this crash.
Speed and alcohol, meanwhile, are not considered to be factors in this crash.
