The incident occurred shortly after 7:00 p.m. along the 100 block of West Nedro Street in Philadelphia's Olney section.
Police found a 40-year-old woman stabbed three times in the chest and once in the stomach.
Medics rushed the victim to Albert Einstein Medical Center for treatment.
No arrests have been made.
