20-year-old pulled from West Phila. fire

WEST PHILADELPHIA - August 10, 2011

The fire broke out at 8:39 p.m. in a two-story home along the 700 block of south 57th Street.

Fire crews managed to knock down the flames and place the fire under control at 8:59 p.m.

Firefighters found a 20-year-old man inside suffering from smoke inhalation.

He was rushed by medics to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for treatment.

There is no word on a cause.
