Investigators say the girl was extremely frightened and did not report the attack until this past weekend.
She said the incident happened on a Saturday in May, possibly May 21st, as she was on West Reliance Road in Telford, Pa.
Telford Police Chief Randall Floyd told Action News on Wednesday that they are currently looking for a suspect.
The victim reported that, as she was jogging that day, the man called out to her but she ignored him. Up the road, however, she saw the van pulled over in the area of Napa Auto Parts and the Greenhouse Tavern.
As she passed, the teen told police she was grabbed and forced into the van. The attacker drove for about a minute, the teen said, before stopping and raping her. She said the man then drove back to the area of the abduction and set her free.
Police say the girl described the rapist as a white man between 30 and 35 years old who wore blue jeans and "smelled like smoke."
She said the van was dark-colored, possibly blue and the rear windows were blackened out. She also reported the inside of the van was dirty and may have been used for construction.
