It happened around 2:30 a.m. on the 5200 block of North Broad Street, near Fisher Avenue.
The cab was stopped at that location when the minivan rammed into the rear of the vehicle. The cab then caught fire, but everyone made it out safely.
All four occupants of the taxi cab were taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center to be checked out for minor injuries.
The driver of the minivan was not seriously injured.
