State police trooper struck during pursuit in Bucks Co.

A Pennsylvania state police officer was injured while trying to nab a suspect in Bucks County.

The incident occurred just after 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 4500 block of New Falls Road in Levittown.

State Police were pursuing a vehicle when the officer was struck.

The suspect was apprehended a short time later.

Both the officer and the suspect are being taken to an area hospital.

The trooper's injuries are not believed life threatening.
