Suspects in Montco bank robbery sought

FLOURTOWN, Pa. - August 24, 2011

The robbery happened around 3:07 p.m. at the TD Bank branch at 1240 Bethlehem Pike in Flourtown.

Police say two men entered the bank and approached the tellers. One man brandished a gun and demanded money while the other put the cash into a canvas bag.

The two men the fled on foot toward Jones Avenue. Investigators say they may have fled in a grey or gold car.

The gunman is described as a black male in his late 20s standing about 5'8" to 5'10" tall. He has a medium build with a short beard or goatee. He was wearing a blue hat with KC on the front, a white shirt and dark pants.

His accomplice also described as a black male in his late 20s also standing about 5'8" to 5'10" tall. He has a medium build and was wearing a red hat, a Nike shirt and tan pants.

These subjects are considered armed and dangerous.
