Sunday's Phillies game moved to Saturday because of Hurricane Irene

The Phillies game scheduled for Sunday, August 28th against the Florida Marlins has been moved up due to the threat of severe weather from Hurricane Irene.

The game will be played as part of a day/night doubleheader on Saturday, August 27 at 1:05 p.m., the Phillies said in a news release on Thursday.

All tickets for the August 28 game will be honored for entry into the August 27 day game, which begins at 1:05 p.m.? The ShopRite Back-to-School Cliff Lee Gym Bag giveaway for fans 14 and under will also take place at the afternoon game.? All gates, including Ashburn Alley, will open at 11:05 a.m. for the 1:05 p.m. game.

The regularly scheduled game on August 27 will still begin at 7:05 p.m.? Fans holding tickets for August 27 should attend the 7:05 p.m. game.? All gates, including Ashburn Alley, will open at 6:05 p.m. for the second game.

The Phillies starters are scheduled to be RHP Roy Halladay for the 1:05 p.m. game and LHP Cliff Lee for the 7:05 p.m. game.
