Elderly couple rescued from flood waters in Montco

WHITEMARSH TWP., Pa. - August 28, 2011

The Action Cam was there as rescuers brought at least two people to dry land. It was not yet known how many people were in need of rescue.

It all began around 4:30 a.m. Sunday when rescuers were dispatched to a home on Stenton Avenue near Flourtown Road.

The homeowners had called in to say they were in the attic and the first floor was flooding.

There is also word of three people trapped in a home with their basement filling up.

Members of the National Guard were among the rescuers on the scene.
