PENNSYLVANIA:
Mayor Michael Nutter announced that a state of emergency, put in place on Saturday night, will be lifted at 12:00 noon on Sunday. Still, he asked residents to stay in their homes if they did not need to be out as damage assessment and cleanup was underway.
The State of Emergency Declaration for North Wales Borough has been lifted.
NEW JERSEY:
Effective 12 noon on Sunday, residents who were ordered to evacuate the Barrier Islands and residences east of Route 9 on the mainland, may now return. The mandatory evacuation order has been lifted including the 9 p.m. - 6 a.m. curfew.
The state travel bans on the Garden State Parkway and the Atlantic City Expressway have also been lifted.
Atlantic County emergency officials are currently evaluating transportation needs and available resources to help facillitate the return of individuals to their communities. Residents who experienced storm-related damage to their properties should report it to their local emergency management offices.
Casinos is Atlantic City will reopen Monday.
At 6:00 a.m. Monday morning, tolls will be reinstated.
DELAWARE:
Delaware has lifted the evacuation order for coastal residents and is allowing businesses to reopen. A limited state of emergency remains in effect during the cleanup.
