The bodies of two men have been found in an inlet along the central New Jersey coast, and authorities believe the deaths are related to Hurricane Irene.

There have been four other deaths in New Jersey related to the storm.

Deputy Chief Michael Mohel of the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office says 25-year-old Jorge Hernandez of Point Pleasant Beach was found around 10:40 a.m. Monday in a jetty of the Manasquan River inlet.

The second man, whose identity has not been determined, was found in a nearby area of the inlet in Point Pleasant Beach around 1:15 p.m.

Mohel says officials have learned Hernandez and another man had planned to go to the inlet early Sunday, possibly to watch the storm's approach. That remains under investigation.
