The shooting occurred at Front and Berks streets shortly after 7:00 p.m.
Police say a man, believed to be in his 30's, was shot in the chest and arm several times.
Police and medics responded and rushed the man to Temple University Hospital.
Police are scouring area businesses to determine if the incident was captured on surveillance video.
